Babies, Cheesecake, and Nordstrom
This little tyke, is Olive!! Hasn't she just gotten so big. She will be one, on the 24th of November. She now says dada, and she claps if you say yeah and clap as well. She has a very cute smile, this is only half of it. She is a little leary of me with the camera, I rarely see her living in Logan, and then when I do. I always have my camera.
As you can see, the bag says Nordstrom on it. That is because I took this picture in the bathroom there. I had a little mishap with a piece of cheesecake and my purse.
During the mishap, our feet were both aching since we had on nice shoes, as you can see in the background. So yes, we took our shoes off in the restroom, thinking it wasn't the worst place to do it, would you do this in a Walmart? I had a nice lady take our picture with my camera, after I cleaned it from all the whipped cream.

The problem with relying on the things of the 21st century.....
Not so long ago, my little laptop contracted several virus', a couple of spyware things, and it couldn't do anything. The place I took it to, only could get half of the problem fixed. So I need to reinstall windows on my computer. SCARY!!!! I could lose everything. Of course I will take precautions and copy everything to a thumbdrive. But still.
Most people now have a cell phone, as thier only phone. I am one of those. When service goes down, I have no contact with the world outside of Logan, this is a scary thought what happens if I fall and can't call 911? unliss I buy a phone card, and go into work to use the phone.
Yes, they are all nice to have, but..... when they all come crashing down, do we really survive? I have gone crazy not able to check email and facebook, and other sites I use on a daily basis, yes this does include school stuff as well. I do have wifi on my cell phone, so I can check facebook, and myspace, but I can't check email, or get online to do my internet classes. But what happens if my cell contracts a virus??? What then???
The world is getting scary. We all depend on the things that we used to live without. Cell phones, dishwashers, microwaves, computers, the internet, digital cameras, and the like. Don't get me wrong, I love them as much as the next person, and I can't wait to be in a place that has a dishwasher. That has a laundry room either in the place I live, or at least on the premises. But we seem to all take it for granted, until they break, or worse, go up in smoke.
So we should give thanks, when they are working, not just when we get them back from the shop.

I See the Light
For those of you that have known me since I have started, can you believe it? Some of you I met along the way. Some of you have cheered me on. I want to thank everyone that has been apart of my support through the long and treacherous journey through school. It has been long, it has been hard. But I know it is worth it.
I do not yet know what I will be doing, or where it will take me, so do not ask. I will let you all know.

My Mother
Mom, I love you. Miss you. Can't wait to see you.
Reactions to the dead rodent in my house......
Some people thought it was a rat, or even a kitty cat.
Some people were sad, some were even glad
One thought it was funny and loves the idea of the killer cat that I have
Some people were sick, some people were shocked
Some people want me to stop.
Well I will stop talking about it.

Update: Poor little creatures outside my home.....
In the Life of a Poor Grasshopper.....
So, Spike brings in the grasshopper, and then if the other cats are inside as well, they all sit and watch it. But if it moves to much, it gets bitten, and poked at. I rescue as many as I can. But I can't save every grasshopper out there. I pick them up carefully, and put them outside, and tell them to run or jump away as fast as they can, if they want to survive.

Frustrations of the night.....
When I went to save it. It said it was saved. So I went to add it to an attachment to be done with it. I was stupid and I closed the word screen. There was no test. I searched high and low. I did finally find it. But alas, there were no answers. So I am totally confused to how this happened. It said it was saved, it went to the temporary file. Which I didn't even know existed. So now it is 12:20 and I am still awake, trying to answer the questions again. I spent at least an hour or more, looking for the test, with the answers.
So the moral of this story is, be sure you don't close down any screens that you think you might need, until you are done with what you are doing. Then you would have been asleep, a little past your bedtime, and not into the wee wee hours of the morning or if you look at it really really late at night.

This years birthday celebration
I invited people from almost every time period of my life. Except from grade school (both live out of state), Colorado, Texas. Of course not all people could come, but I was very happy with the people who showed up. I wish everyone could have made it.
The following pictures were taken that night.
This picture is of Bud (standing up), Brent (yellow shirt), Tim and Becky who is hopeing she is not in the picture.
This picture has Becky and myself, with Erin hugging me from the back. The steam is from the broth cooking for the meat.
This is Tim and Becky.
This is Bud and Stephanie.
Thisis my dad and myself.
This is Becky and myself.
For some reason, there are pictures that didn't get saved in my camera, I remember taking. Sorry to those people.
Next years plan, I want to go to Rodizio's, a brazillian grill, it is delicious as well.

My Life, My World
Health: I have had my fifth surgery in Feb. When after surgery I bought some new pants. The pants I bought then, are now about two sizes too big. I have lost at least 25 lbs. in the last 3 months. So send money so I can get new clothes, it would be greatly appreciated! I need new glasses, the eye doctor thought I had glaucoma. Luckily I have been very blessed. I don't have glaucoma, or macular degeneration of the eyes. That is a huge blessing for me, since I have been 10 years old, I have been using American Sign Language, it is a wonderful and beautiful language.
Work: I am still at Sam's Club, still at the door as well. This next year in April. I will have been with Sam's Club for 8 years. That is a scary thought for me, sorry Brian.
Church: I have two callings at church besides visiting teaching. Though I have had an interesting thing happened to have my first visiting teacher here in Logan get married to one of the best home teachers I have ever had. Then I recieved a new visiting teacher and she got married two months after that. I still have yet to meet my new home teacher.
Random Stuff: I am still single. I am loving life in Logan.
From left to right it goes: Cupcake, Ice, Spike and Brownie
Cupcake: She is a very people oriented cat. She walks up to people on the sidewalk, and thinks everyone is going to pet her. She likes to walk into random peoples houses and make herself comfortable. They are confused by the conduct, she gets mad when they through her out. She is very friendly, I have had people tell me that they wouldn't mind taking her home. She is a tortise shell (like a calico, but more muted colors and very little white).
Ice: He is my new never fail alarm clock. He likes to go outside, early in the morning. But he is confused by this when I don't let him out when I have to go to school early in the morning. He doesn't let me sleep very late. He normally wakes me up at 3. But he is a very smart cat. He can tell time. I tell him to come back in 3 hours and he does it. He is a very rare russian blue.
Spike: The white amongst the dark, he is a flame point. When he first came home, he looked a lot like Ice, then we gave him a bath, and he was white! I found him outside of Sam's Club at seven weeks old, he was so tiny his paws could barely reach the bottom of the cart. He was eating pizza crust and pretzels to stay alive. No one thought he would turn into a cuddly little bugger, that he is. His favorite place to be is over my hands when I am typing or throwing himself over my shoulder. Thankfully, he has stopped kneading my head.
Brownie is a sweetheart. She always stays close when I let them out, she always comes and looks after me.
This is a picture is of my immediate family at Danny's wedding. Unfortunately, Brian, Ryan and their kids couldn't come. Chelsea as the bride is taking other pictures, and Becky took this one for us.
This is my favorite music video at the moment. It is from a Korean Group named K.I.S.S. the song title is "Because I'm A Girl"
