So what do you do this early in the morning, when you can't make noise by doing things to help yourself with cleaning the house?
Well, this is what I do, I pray, I get up and go to the bathroom, then I get back into bed to get warm. This is when the cats decide I should let them outside, which I don't. I get on facebook play my games comment on peoples status', check email, check facebook again and accept all pending invites I am interested in. I start my classes at 9:30. I leave at 9. On Mon. and Wednesdays I have an exercise class, and I shower after that. You might think that is disgusting (I am not really fond of it either actually), but I don't want to shower then wait at the bus stop with wet hair, then go get sweaty and gross.
Workers comp has decided I need to lose at least 50 more pounds before I can have my knee surgery, which will be a partial knee. This will not be a problem except for one class I have that is 3 1/2 hours. On Tuesday nights I have a class that goes from 4:30-7. The class is on the assesment of the bilingual/bi-cultural student. All we do in the class is eat. Most of the other students have been having classes since early morning and go until late, so 3 people a week bring food to eat, lets just say its not healthy: cookies, brownies, chips, rice krispie treats... etc. Only one person has brought fruit. I have signed up for next Tuesday, I am bringing apples and bananas, we have to bring enough to feed at least 15 people.
Nothing else has really been happening, just going to work (I am now getting about 30 hrs a week- instead of 17), and going to school. It seems I never find the time to clean or do laundry. But then such is life, you can only go so long with not doing laundry or the dishes before it overflows into the rest of the house, and run out of glasses, plates, silverware and clean underwear.
Have a great day!
What is going on in my life? Nobody knows. That is what this is all about!! Have any questions?

The last few months....
Well since my last post, I have had an interesting time.
I was able to go to a friends wedding, where it was great to see the happiness of the bride and groom. I got to hold a two month old baby and help out in the kitchen. I was very happy to be included in this celebration.
I went to the second opinion who thinks I need a total knee replacement (this is what I have been thinking, but my doctor in Logan, refuses to do it and doesn't even want to do a partial). Hopefully he will let me have a partial. But still waiting on workmans comp decision, but this in nothing new, happened with the third surgery as well. This next one will be my sixth!!!
We had a family reunion in Alpine/Salt Lake/ Lehi. It was great to see all the family who could make it, I wish Anne and her crew could have made it, maybe next year.
I spilled 5 ozs. of water on my laptop, with Spike's help. It is still in the hospital- not Spike, my computer.
I have also lost so much weight none of my clothes fit, I finally had to buy a belt. I hate belts. I hate wearing them, but since all my clothes are at least 3 SIZES too big, I need them. I am still losing weight, which I am grateful and blessed that it is happening.
This next couple of weeks will fly by, I have decided to do a deep and thorough cleaning of the apartment once again. After spraying the bug killer in the bathroom, they are starting to come back. This time I will spray the whole house (which I planned to do the first time), but now I will clean and rearrange the furniture so I can spray the other room.
Then I have my birtday dinner at rodizios, in Trolley Square at 6 pm, Aug. 20th. be there or be square. For those of you who want to come, it will be about $30.00 that should include dinner, drink and tip.
School starts the next week and I will be graduating in Dec. and will throw a graduation party. I have applied for a second bachelors degree so I can take two more classes so if I do decide to go into the Masters program, I will be all ready. I tried to see if they would let me have one more sememster before I graduate, but they said no, because I would be over "professional student credits" and they would charge me double for tuition. So I am had to apply for the second degree, to take 2 classes to keep tuition at a good price.
I hopefully will get the computer back soon, though where I took it for a free computer check thing at Staples last week, they said they would call me on Wednesday (took it in on Tuesday) they didn't call, so I called Thursday, told me they would call me in 2 or 3 hours and still didn't call. So I am going into the store to pick it up and take it somewhere else to be fixed (I think it is just the keyboard that is messed up- can do other things on it with no problems except I can't type at all)
I hope this finds everyone well.

Interesting Things Happened after last post
Workmans Comp after agreeing that the surgery was and is medically appropriate and necessary, decided that I needed a second opinion. So the surgery has been postponed until later. Everything else on the last post remains the same.

New Things Happening
Well, here we go again. Surgery #6 is just around the corner. This time they are reshaping my knee and knee cap. Doesn't sound like fun. This is the first time workers comp has approved it so fast. I went into the drs. to discuss what has ahppened since the injections. Since they didn't work we are discussed surgery. Thinking I would have it in the middle of July or beginning of Aug. Workers comp, shocked us all and decided to approve it a 4 days later. Even more shocking I went into schedule it, and they told me in 13 days!!!!
On a brighter note: My annual Birthday dinner, on Aug. 20th, about 6 pm, will be held at Rodizio's this year. It will be $20.00 a person, plus gratuity. Please bring your own money. As a broke college student, and someone who will not work for three months, I can't afford to pay for anyone but myself.
I am also graduating in Dec!!!!

Spiders, bathrooms and me.
Need I say more??? This is humours to me but also is freaking me out, so I thought I would share so you all could laugh with me or at me, I really don't care.
When I was a child, Katie and I had a bad night with a couple of spiders, I have never really liked them, but now I am really scared of them.
Yesterday morning when I was getting ready for church I opened my bathroom cupboard to rab my toothbrush and I saw a spider that was pretty big, about the size of a nicole, with a white dot on its back. I jumped grabbed a shoe and killed it. Then as I reached up to turn of the bathroom light (its a pull light just a little to where the shower curtain rod is) I saw another one. I also tried to kill that one, but all I did was knock it off its purch. I jumped back because it started to swing on its thread. Then it climbed back up.
I know a person, my visiting teacher, who is not afriad of spiders, so I asked her to come kill it. We could not find it. Well this morning, I was shaking out everything in the bathroom so I could get into the shower, when I saw it. I ran and grabbed something to kill it with but its a fast bugger, and I had to move the litter box, and the cat litter and so forth, then it was gone.
Lets just say I took the fastest shower I ever have, and I now have my toothbrush and hair brush in the kitchen. I am going to go buy bug and spider spray today, so I can spray the house tomorrow, so bye bye black spider.
Then I can breathe again, and take longer showers and not be so jumpy every time, I feel a thread of string on me.

Life since my last post
Everyone, I have been so busy. I have finished this semester with the best grades I have ever gotten, in the hardest semester I have had. 2 B's and 2 A-'s. I am very proud and happy with these grades. But I am so blessed, if it had not been for the Lord's help, Becky's writing skills, and everyone's constant love and support and prayers, I would not have made it.
The cats are all doing well, we had a scare with Spike, but I was able to sell some movies and was able to take him to the vet, he is back to his oldself.
I am still at Sam's Club. This is may not really a big surprise to some, but my new manager likes to fire people. I have actually been there for 8 years. This is actully a scary thought, at least to me.
Next semester I am graduating with my BA degree, and so is Anna, my cousin, we are thinking about doing a joint grad party.
Well, thats all I can think of at the moment, my sleeping schedule is way off, and my brain is starting to turn off, so I think I will hit the sack.
Love and hugs, and thanks again for all your prayers, thoughts, and love, and support

Mi Vida Loca!!!!
Well, that is about how my life has been for the last couple of months. Let me just catch everyone up on what I have been doing.
Christmas was very quiet this year. Bud was on vacation, Becky and Tim were in San Diego as well as Chelsea and Danny. Anne and Katie were at home with their families. So it was only my dad and I. Until about 7 then Becky, Tim and Adalyn showed up for dinner.
School started on the 5th of Jan. This semester, I am working on my senior thesis. The topic of my senior thesis is "Bilingual Bicultural Approach to the Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children, For Doctors Parents and Teachers."
I have the head of the Deaf Education Department working as my supervisor, Dr. King. He is very supportive and is impressed by what I choose to do, but for some of you who know him, he can be very blunt and really brutally honest, ok, he is mean, to a point or aka "tough love". He is pushing to get the best out of me, on this project, because after I write this, I will be putting together a pamphlet to give to the Drs. and teachers. Don't get me wrong, I want to give my best, but if I am confused by some of what he is saying, we have miscommunications and then it is harder.
My other classes are going very well, though they are just as busy. I am in ASL 3, which has about 25 projects for us to do, ok I am exaggerating, its more like 12. But this means you need to reserve time to go and sign the projects. I am in an Infancy and toddler class which is so much fun, my teacher is actually pregnant, and she will hopefully have her baby around spring break. She will continue to have class after she has her baby boy, she will just bring him along.
My other class is Psychology of the Deaf, which is a stupid name, because they are just like everyone else, except that they can't hear. I am teaching one class period in this class, and my subject is quite depressing. I am teaching on grief. I have come up with a really good object lesson, which I think is hilarious. I am bringing in donuts, which I will start to pass out, then I won't let them have any. they will be dissappointed, which fits in with the grieving process. This might seem rude, espaecailly since my class is at 9:00am, and I am teaching on Monday.
All my cats are doing fine, Danny and Chelsea had my name for Christmas, where are family draws names. I also had their names as well. They sent me a really nice scarf, and a 30 dollar gift card to Barnes and Noble. I bought five books with it. Oliver Twist, The Road, The Brothers Kosomovao (or something like that) and Count of Monte Cristo, I can't think of the other one.
They also sent my cats some treats and toys. They bought thier favorite treat too. Its interesting they perfer that flavor over the others. The toys were a big hit, they actually fought over them. I will post pictures later since I am at school, waiting to see Dr. King.
Katie and Brian and her family surprized me with a $50.00 gift card from lane Bryant, since I have lost 60lbs, since June, and all my clothes are starting to fall off. Thanks for that Katie and Brain, I got new shirts that are cute and in a smaller size!!!
I am also in the process of getting ready to take the MAT aka Millers Analogy Test to apply for grad school in the SEIMs program aka Sensory Empairment Intervention Masters. With this I will be certified to work with Deaf children to the age of three, I will also get a teaching license as well so I can teach preschool.
I also want you to know that I am grateful for the support and friendship I have had from each of you. You have been there for me, and have encouraged me when I could go no further. On that note, I am very grateful to Heavenly Father for all the blessings He has given me, which is each one of you. I am very blessed. I am happy with my life, and have accepted me as me.
As a side note, if you get this far in reading this. My other blog, Recipes to Share, needs recipes. I have been asked by family members for some of my moms recipes, and other family favorites. I have thought that the best way to go about this is doing it on a blog, so everyone can contribute. If you want to contribute, please email me and I will add your name to the contributers list. Then we can all have access to tried and true great recipes.
Thanks again everyone.
